I have been a customer of several different dentists offices, I've never felt so welcomed and takenn care of than at Amherst Dental. I called them at 7 am with the worst tooth pain I ever had, and they removed the tooth the same day and I feel 100x better. Thanks Amherst Dental for the outstanding service!

Amherst Dental is a great dental office. I have had Dr Shannon McCarthy for quite a while for numerous treatments and I am very happy with her. Dental hygienist, Colleen, is exceptional! She is friendly, caring, and professional, and always does a thorough job. The follow-up at the end with ozone to heal and desensitize makes this the best cleaning ever!

Courteous and professional. Our family has been going here for years and now we bring our kids too. Dr. Shainbrown and his team are always super nice, and make our experience great. They've got top of the line technology and are always very informative about what's happening with my teeth. Our kids love Kevin for dental cleanings.

My daughter smashed her tooth late last night. Worried, I called the dentist on call because I didn't know what to do. The dentist texted back and forth, answering questions, and then Dr. Tytka got us in first thing this morning. She took care of the issue, and even managed to fit in my daughter's ortho consult, to save us another trip. Everyone was very nice, efficient, and helpful as always. Such a wonderful dental office!

I've been a patient at Amherst Dental/Applegate Dental for ~5 years give or take. You'd be hard pressed to find a more friendly, knowledgeable, inviting, or professional environment. The doctors and staff are open, communicative and empathetic. Don't go elsewhere. For transparency sake, we do work for the group providing their landscaping services, and have for 5 - 7 years. This has had no bearing on my personal experience, or that of the rest of my family for that matter.

I was a teensy bit worried about my first appt with ADG as Dr. Shannon just merged her practice there recently and I was a patient of hers. I was extremely pleasantly surprised! Everyone was so kind and the space is clean and filled with plants! I had a new hygenist this time, Angelica was fantastic. I'm very sensitive about my teeth and she gave me great recommendations that felt specific to me, not just general stuff but she clearly took into consideration where I was at and what would be the best move for my teeth and I really appreciated that.
She also still used the ultrasonic which I love! It cleans my teeth so well and doesn't hurt a bit. I got the same awesome Dr. Shannon goodie bag and overall just had a great visit. Thank you all!

Had the pleasure of being seen emergently by Dr Kathleen Tytka. She immediately made me feel comfortable by her friendly demeanor, taking the time to listen and providing knowledgeable feedback. Felt very confident in her professional abilities & recommendations. The office staff at the Hopkins location have always been very kind & expedient with results when you call with a question or concern. Really couldn't ask for any sweeter Dental Assistants & RDH. They are awesome!
