I visited this dentist about 2 years ago and my experience was so distasteful. While I was in pain seeking treatment, all this dentist was talking about was how was I going to pay for my treatment even though my insurance was covering the treatment. She had me applying to a credit card to pay for $5000 worth of dental treatment. My advice to Dr Maria is to focus on providing good dental treatment instead of only talking about money and trying to make patients pay for more treatment that what they actually need, it is dishonest and unethical.

Friendly, caring staff. They did a great job with cleaning and filling a chipped tooth. Will certainly be coming back. Thank you, Dr. Jimenez!

My first experience sucked. I told them I didn't want X-rays because I had gotten them months before. So I had to buy them for like $200ish in order to get my cleaning. When I requested to get a copy of them they never sent them. Even after emailing them several times. I've been to many dental offices but this was the worst experience

I discovered Albania Dental when I chipped my tooth. My tooth looked terrible. The chip was so bad (literally half of my front tooth was gone). Dr. Maria went out of her way to see me on Labor day! She explained exactly what was going to happen (treatment wise). I went in and got a root canal and a crown. My mouth looks good and feels great. I can honestly say Dr. Maria saved my smile! Years later and I'm still going back. Even in these pandemic times Albania dental is one of the safest and comfortable dental offices that I know about.

Would strongly recommend, really thoughtful and caring service from the doctor as well as the other employees. The place is looks really nice and clean, is located near Yale campus so is accessible to all. Also bilingual so they speak both English and Spanish.

I had to wait almost an hour for my appointment, and once I met with Dr. Jimenez she continuously cut me off in the middle of my sentences trying to explain my reason for visiting. She demanded I pay her over $5,000 dollars to take over the monitoring process of a Clearcorrect (invisalign) case that I began in Ohio, although I was assured by reps of the company and my former dentist that there is no fee to transfer the case.

She would not allow me to finish explaining myself, raised her voice when I tried (very politely) to talk through the confusion, and she refused to speak with my former dentist or check in with the Clearcorrect provider when I offered that option. Her shocking lack of listening and her extremely condescending and loud language made me have to get up and walk out of the room as her rebuttals turned into personal insults towards me.

The next dentist I visited shortly thereafter immediately took on my case for free and with no issue, which is normal protocol for Clearcorrect cases. I'm very easygoing and don't expect people to always be polite, but the level of rudeness and misinformed anger from Dr. Jiminez was more shocking reprehensible than anything I've ever experienced in a professional setting.

My friend had a terrible experience and a severe panic attack following her visit here. The dentist told her she had multiple cavities even though she has never had one before. After getting a second opinion sue found out she had 0 cavities and was fine. This dentist is unprofessional and misdiagnosing many of her patients. Save yourself the time, money, and stress and go somewhere else :

I have not been to the dentist for awhile and needed work done. Dr. Jimenez and her staff were very friendly and did not pass judgement. They explained what needed to be done and was able to go over my treatment plan and potential costs associated with the care needed. For a lot of people going to the dentist is an anxiety inducing experience, Albania Dental has treated me well and will continue to use their services for my future dental care.

Best dentist I've had in decades. She cleaned my teeth better than I had done in DC. She took her time and went through the x-rays and let me know all my options. We came up with a payment plan and I am very happy with her services.

The absolute worst health professional I've ever been to. I previously posted on Yelp and my comments were taken down. The same thing happened on Zoc Doc because they don't want you to know that people like this exist. I submitted a complaint to the Practitioner Licensing and Investigations Section, who of course only cover up for one another, and the case was dismissed. Please voice your opinion on how horrible of a dentist this woman is so that the people know the truth. Some people shouldn't be working with the public, this is one.

This is the worst dentist I have ever been to. I arrived to get a cleaning and check up and don't feel like I got either one. The cleaning process took less than 10 min. and just involved a lot of painful poking. They didn't even floss my teeth. She decided I needed to replace 5 fillings after just 1 min. of looking. The bill will be over $2,000! Needless to say I will be getting a second opinion and won't be wasting any more of my money here!

I always got the feeling that my questions weren't being answered. They were always trying to up-sell and told me I needed 6 new fillings. I got 2 with them and then went to get a second opinion because I didn't trust them. Let's just say the other dentist disagreed with their diagnosis. They also wanted $50 to transfer my x-rays to another dentist - something most dentists will do for free.
