A V Sierra Dental Center

I chose AV Sierra Dental after doing some research and reading all the great reviews. I must say, my overall experience was above and beyond. I don't leave reviews often unless there's something really great or really bad. In this case, my entire experience from office staff to assistants to the doctors; everyone was so amazingly kind, helpful, and attentive to your needs.

To top it off, they even walked me through my insurance to find ways to maximize my dental benefits with the least out-of-pocket cost. A dentist you actually want to go to! Highly recommend!

Service was completely outstanding. I genuinely had a pleasant experience with the office and dental staff. Everyone was extremely helpful with attending to my needs. I had severe pain on a couple teeth and they saw me almost right away. I would absolutely want to give them 5 stars, but its unfortunate how they manage their cancellation/missed appointment policy, which in my case I was completely unaware of.

I missed two appointments due to work restrictions that wouldn't allow me to make the appointments, and I was never notified of the cancellation/reschedule/missed appointment fee policy or even aware that they had already waived a "alleged" fee when I rescheduled ahead of my appointment the first time. They mentioned that I signed the fine print, which is valid on my end for not reading through the endless paperwork, but with no reminder or any kind of warning/heads-up about their cancellation policy from their staff, it's a bit tricky to navigate dentist offices that don't prioritize their appointment policy and blindside you with a fee you were completely unaware of from the start.

I'm not upset about the policy, more so the transparency and courtesy of letting patients know. Especially new patients. Let me fill the gap for this dentist office because I do feel that they are an excellent dentistry and would still want others to receive their care, but be aware of the fine prints. If you cancel/miss what I'm assuming max 2 appointments, REGARDLESS of you calling to reschedule before hand, you'll be face a $100 fee that is required to be paid before they can continue to do any services with you.

Double check your appointments and try to call in advance so hopefully this won't happen to you. Also, make sure you're not in pain because then you're pretty much screwed until you pay hahaha, even if you have already prepaid for the services to be completed.

This office was kind enough to schedule a same day appointment for me. I was greeted by the front desk staff as soon as I walked in. I just waited a couple of minutes before I was taken to the exam room. Jenny took some xrays. She was very professional and she took the time to tell about the office. Doctor Oh examined my mouth and took the time to explain what was going on. I did not feel rushed and on my way out I scheduled a routine check up. I highly recommend this office!

Very clean, and oriental neat office in the front the girls at the desk were very friendly and professional! Really positive energy from them! : Had appointment for my son which Christina, and Dr Oh took care of him. He definitely enjoyed his first visit there. Because the staff here is great and organized. I would recommend this place to family and friends.

CRISTINA is awesome, I'm scared with needles but every time she apply anesthesia she made it feel painless! (The first injection) And her hands are too light! I've seen few hygienist and so far she's the only one I met that makes me feel comfortable and she does a great job I like how she explains everything and made yoy understand what is she doing.

The other workers there are awesome too. Ladies in frontdesk are all nice too. If you need deep cleanings or cleaning I highly recommend to book CRISTINA! AV SIERRA did good job for hiring nice and professional people. Our little family found new dental office. Will surely have my husband come here for his future dental appointment

The staff was friendly and professional. The atmosphere was nice. The office was very clean. I like that there equipment was updated and modern. The dentist was nice and very knowledgeable in his field. So I will be getting all my dental needs done there!

I have so much anxiety when it comes to anything Dental related and I have now found the Dentist Office I will go to for life. I have nothing but amazing things to say about AV Sierra Dentistry. From the moment you walk in the doors you are greeted by beautiful smiling faces who are ready to help you. There is no judgement no matter what your circumstances.

The dental hygienists are so thoughtful and caring and really make sure that you feel comfortable. Dr. Oh is exceptional! I have never met a dentist that explained his plans as clearly and concisely to me while at the same time being considerate of my fears. The procedure I then had was very in depth and he and his team really made it so easy and almost painless for me.

I am so impressed by how easy my procedure felt like especially compared to past ones I had. Also on a side note, my Dad was a brief patient there and had amazing things to say about them before he passed in December 2020; I mentioned this to Dr. Oh and he remembered exactly who my Dad was and we shared a funny story. That meant the world to me. That proves to me that their patients are more to them than numbers or dollar signs. They are people they truly care for their patients. I wish I could give them one million stars but I guess 5 will have to do.

Christina is upbeat, affable and professional. Dr. Oh is a good listener, explains things clearly, and always has time for his patients. And the girls at the front desk make it fun to pay the bill. I almost look forward to going to AV Sierra Dental.

The staff has always been kind and helpful. The front office explained the billing explicitly and the nurses made me feel at ease. The office is super clean and equipment seems really modern. Dr. Villar took his time to explain everything (I had to have some fillings replaced) and kept checking on my comfort level. I had been with my previous dentist for over 15 years so when I moved I was worried about starting over. I highly recommend AV Sierra!

A bit pricey if you don't have insurance but you definitely get your moneys worth. I called in for pain on my upper molars. Got an appointment a few days later. They found that my previous crown broke and started digging unto my gums and my root canal was not deep enough. Doc worked on me for several hours on that day. recommended me to a specialist for the root canal and all went well.

The new crown fits perfectly, it feels smooth and high quality. Highly recommended, Doc is really good at what he does, knowledgeable with passion. Dolores is an amazing person as well. she was very understanding with my needs and kind. I hope she gets a raise soon.

Absolutely love Dr. O and all of the staff at AV Sierra Dental Center. Everyone is kind, patient, and very good at what they do! Dr. O has always been fantastic and has helped me so much over the past few years. He also has never told me I needed a treatment when I didn't need one (even if I thought I might). I recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

The doctor and his staff were all super pleasant and very efficient. They went over my initial problem and it turned out an accident I had years ago resulted in me needing a root canal. But they are not fast to removed your teeth or make pricey calls. For one of my teeth they said keep an eye on it and make sure to floss often and it shouldn't be a problem later.

Which I appreciated. They took me the very next day. The process was fast and easy, I didn't feel a thing and they made sure I was comfortable! The office was all very clean and organized. They answered phones super fast and they have TV's mounted on the ceiling for the patient to watch as they look up! They also use new machines I've not yet seen at other offices before. It seems like they are ahead of the time and it's the small things they pay attention too that make all the difference.

The staff is super nice and very professional. Dr Oh answered all the questions I had and was very thorough. Will be going back for lots of treatment, prices are average and they take Delta dental.

They are constantly changing appointments last minute, If the time is not convenient for me they ALWAYS say we're scheduled a little far out and offer me an appointment like 2 months out. They have literally been postponing my cleaning since the beginning of the year. Ridiculous that they cannot accommodate me into their schedule when they are the ones that continue to reschedule my appointments. Will not be returning.

Wow! I can't say enough about Dr Jason Oh and his team! Christina the office manager is really on top of her game! Alyssa is a very gentle hygienist! Dolores, Canessa and Jennifer are fantastic assistants and make you feel comfortable! Vanessa makes sure the claims are paid as they are supposed to! Jazmin makes sure that I'm able to get my hygiene appointment! Colleen makes sure to let me know what procedures are covered! Thank you Dr Jason Oh!

Had review this dental center! I been taking my daughter for orthodontist and I finally went In as a patient for general dentistry the staff is always so nice and welcoming the dental hygienist Alyssa and Christina were so nice and explained everything through the appointment wait time was very minimal 10min at the most area are kept clean overall experience was 5stars will continue to go! :

Dr Oh and his staff are amazing. My wife and I had some work done and the professionalism of the AV staff was top notch. They set a plan with us and ensured that we understood what needed to be done. Dr Oh takes the time to call his patients after a couple of days to follow up with them on their procedures. I've been to many different dentists in my life and I must say that this office is among the best. There are many choices in the AV but you can't go wrong choosing AV Sierra.

I received a gum graft and crown revision with at AV sierra and want to share that Dr. Oh and Dr. Sastiel did an incredible job! I believe I was a tricky case, and the results were better than expected. All of the dentists and staff were kind and patient during the process. Everyone took their time answering my questions - from those regarding billing to the dental procedures. I am happier with my smile and highly recommend!

Great Experience! I've been looking for a good office in the Antelope valley and have been very disappointed with many of them. But this office is very professional and caring. I will refer my friends and family.

Great experience at AV Sierra Dental. Professional staff. State of the art facility and equipment. As a new patient, I was able to receive a same day appointment immediately. Every member of the staff, the receptionists, Alyssa, the hygienist and of course, Dr. Oh were very cordial, accommodating, and thorough. I would absolutely recommend AV Sierra Dental to all friends and family and anyone seeking dental work.

I have had a great experience at this dental office. I have only been twice but have future appointments set up. I never have to wait long as soon as I check in they are ready for me. I've only spoken to 3 of the women that work there but they are very friendly. I've had a deep cleaning and they are very attentive and do a great job its only been 2 days and have seen major difference in my gums health. I'd recommend this place

I understand a business needs to make money, however, good ones are not this blatant about it. I did not feel they had my best interest in mind, only the highest possible cost, even if that means exaggerating or completely fabricating needs. They have bilked us for thousands, we will seek a new dentist; one that attempts to make us not feel like an ATM. Good riddance!

Great dentist office from the receptionists to the hygienists to the dentists. Hard to find these days. I highly recommend them. (Billing could use a bit of help though. Don't like it when I'm presented with a bill from last year after being told we're all paid up. This tends to be the biggest problem with every dentist we've been to so hang on to all your receipts!)

Maybe going to the dentist isn't fun, but because the staff always welcomes you with a friendly and professional attitude, it's not that bad either. Sivan is an awesome Dental Hygienist and always does a excellent job. I've been going to her for years and will continue to do so. And if you need more than a cleaning, Dr. Jason OH will take the time to walk you through each procedure, so there's no surprises.

Amazing dentist office. Very professional and help up the utmost's standards. Friendly staff and very knowledgeable. Made me feel very comfortable on exactly everything that was going on. I haven't been to the dentist in over 10 years, because of the fact of all of my painful and terrifying experiences. Alyssa was my dental hygienist. She was friendly kind and knew what she was doing. She made me feel very comfortable in every step of the way of what was going on. I highly recommend this dentist office.

Love this place. I've never enjoyed the dentist before but everyone at AV Sierra Dental is so helpful and pleasant that I look forward to coming in. I've never had to wait for more than a few minutes to be seen. I love that appointment reminders are sent via email and text messages. The dental hygienists do a very through cleaning and are gentle. When you do have work to be done I like that they lay out all of your options and let you know up front what the costs will be.

My wife found this place due to the 5 star reviews. We live 40 miles away and she decided to go with the best reviewed Dental Office. Took me a year but finally realized it was worth it myself to go with Dr Oh and his staff. They truly are all amazing from the front office to the specialists in the back. They all care personally and passionately and Dr Oh's demeanor is honest and authentic. that's the heart of this place. So, if you find yourself looking for a place that doesn't look at you as just a bag of money and will scare you into treatment that's questionable, this is the place that will take care if you like a human. His diagnosis is rational and pure

This is my second attempt to find a decent dentist in the antelope Valley, and I went in with a lot of dental fear and mistrust. I left happy as anything, and confident in my new dentist and appreciative of all the friendliness and professionalism from his staff. It's a beautiful office with all modern equipment and Dr. O even called me the day before my visit to welcome me as a new patient. I've never had an experience like that, and I've never had an experience like my visit. It was awesome and I'm looking forward to going again - and I never thought I'd say that about a dental appointment!
