Taking good care of your teeth and gums is an important part of life. A beautiful smile not only looks good, but it is also an indicator of your overall health. Studies have shown that systemic illnesses, such as cardiovascular disease and diabetes, are directly linked to oral health complications like periodontal (gum) disease.
Implant Site Preparation: The gum tissue is opened to expose the bone area where the implant will be placed. In situations where there is insufficient bone structure, bone grafting may be a recommended procedure. Once healthy bone has been established, a special drill is used to prepare the bone to receive the implant.
As you move the floss down into the space between two teeth, slide it up and down against the surface of one tooth. Gently clean at the gumline as well. In-office teeth whitening works by producing a significant color change in your teeth in a short amount of time, usually within an hour. The procedure is done at the dentist's office, by applying a high-concentration peroxide gel on the teeth after they have been protected with a special shield. These whitening kits are purchased from Dr. Thomas for use at home.

Dr. Thomas is an outstanding dentist. His staff are friendly and knowledgeable. It is easy to get an appointment and I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes once I arrived. Dr. Thomas and his staff are always willing to answer questions. Procedures are explained in detail and they will even use a camera to show you what will be done. I highly recommend A Great Smile Arizona.

If you're looking for a dental office that has a friendly front office, awesome dental hygienists and a knowledgable and kind Dentist look no further, this is the place. I've struggled to find a dentist that doesn't try to over-charge me for "necessary" services and I'm glad I finally found one! Dr. Thomas was knowledgeable and transparent about my dental care needs!

I have been going to Dr. Thomas for 11 years now. He has done everything from basic cleaning to root canals, crowns, etc. He has an expert touch and is supported by an outstanding team of hygienists, dental assistants and office staff. Both Dr. Thomas and his staff are very friendly and he has a great sense of humor, which I find helpful when someone is about to put a drill in my mouth.
Most of his staff have been there for years. His office is in Tempe and I live in Anthem, but it is well worth the drive for the quality dental care Dr. Thomas and his staff provide. I highly recommend A Great Smile for anyone looking for quality dental care.

Dr. Thomas, his dental hygienists, and his staff, do a great job. They are always pleasant and on schedule with appointments. Whenever I have an urgent issue, they are accommodating and get me in right away. Dr. Thomas has been doing my dental work for years and I have always been happy with his service and his staff.

The staff at A Great Smile is top notch! Tammy always goes out of her way in communicating, working with and schedule/rescheduling to fit into your family's schedule. Dr. Thomas is amazing and is always so informative and present. I never feel like I'm bothering him if I have questions. He is always available and I never feel he's rushing to answer.
The office is always neat, clean and very tidy. I absolutely love the huge windows in each of the offices that your chair is pointed toward. Its honestly the best dental experience I've ever had. Thank you, A Great Smile team!

I have been a patient with Dr. Elmo Thomas and Dr. David Thomas since 1979 and have always had great experiences with the entire staff. I look forward to twice a year cleanings/checkups and have never had an issue with being kept waiting to be seen. The staff is very prompt and I am always amazed at how they remember me and my family which gives me a good feeling that I am a valued patient not just a patient number.
I personally respect Dr. David for his honesty in dental evaluations and he does not recommend additional dental work unless it is absolutely necessary. He always has the best interest of the patient when he is doing an examine which is very important to me. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a great dentist try Dr. David Thomas and staff at A Great Smile, you will not be disappointed.

Dr. Thomas and his entire staff are extraordinary. The office is very relaxed and comforting. One's reception is genuinely warm, friendly and welcoming. Dr. Thomas himself is a gifted, highly skilled and experienced dentist. He actively keeps up to date on advanced dental techniques and practices while remaining clear and concise in explaining all the treatment options available to his patients.
His fees are reasonable and he takes special care in assuring his patients are comfortable and satisfied with their treatment. There is no finer dental practice in my experience. No matter what your age or dental needs you will not be disappointed.

I'm 62 years old. And, I've been coming to the Thomas Dentistry Office, regularly, ever since Dr. David Thomas' dad was running the practice. During all of those years, I've been treated with the utmost care and compassion from Dr. Thomas and his staff. They have always been very forthright and helpful with any questions I may have. They have also done a great job in providing me with all of the options available for my situation so that I can make an informed decision.
