I had to get a filling done so I went in to see Mark Schlosser because he was open. When visiting he got audibly frustrated while working on me which I found extremely uncomfortable, and unprofessional. When asking him what was wrong he cussed while working on me because there was something he thought he could, that he couldn't. When reviewing my insurance, he billed my entire years worth of benefits, over a thousand dollars for a single filling. I would definitely not recommend this guy if you want to keep your sanity.

Mark is warm and an expert craftsman in what he does with his hands. He does much of the work in-house. Everything from reception area, waiting room, and dental procedure room, has more of a feeling of home, than that of sterile dental office. He corrected work done by a previous dentist, that he discovered was causing some gum issues, and not contributing to my health.

I love Dr. Schlosser. He is very upfront and honest about the procedures you need. He doesn't try to rack up the bill. I've had other experiences where other Dentist will exaggerate the severity of your case in order to strong arm you into going through with the procedures as fast as possible before you realize their scam. But not here with Dr. Schlosser. He is very honest and I really appreciate that trust with my dentist. Thank you for being one of the rare good guys in this sometimes questionable industry.

I'd drop 10 Stars if I could! THE BEST DENTIST EVER. I mean it Mark has been my dentist for 9 years. (i thought i left a review years ago. this is long overdue) He's been my wifes dentist for 4 years. He will be my children's dentist when they get old enough. The first work Mark did for me 9 years ago was replacing my Joint crowns (Got my front teeth broken in half) with single crowns and wow. they looked 10 times realer than my old crowns AND i can actually floss between each tooth. Next, over the years Mark has replaced all silver I had with white fillings to match the color of my teeth. He's even done some bonding for me which I never even knew existed.

If you need med/major work but you're scared of needles, Mark is the go-to guy. I've been to MANY dentists in my life. Mark actually numbs the area with a cherry flavored cream and THEN uses the pain numbing needle (so you barely feel a pinch. He's careful/precise/sensitive to your wants/needs. He explains to me the process and gives me options of what I can do. Don't let the address -Beverly Hills- scare you. Yeah, he's the best dentist but he doesn't charge a arm and leg for services.

Very fair prices and accepts insurance. Don't you want your own personal dentist or are you ok with getting worked on by "whoevers working in the clinic that day"? It's a no brainer. If you need ANY dental work, go see Mark. Also I found the best restaurant next to his work. Da Pasqual. Amazing always stop by there when I visit mark. THANKS AGAIN MARK! :)

Went in to get a tooth jewelry bonded to my teeth(twinkles teeth jewelry, I bought it in advance) The place is as everyone says a cozy atmosphere. Dr. Schlosser, is a quirky man, very nice and took his time to take care of my vanity need. He checked my teeth and gave me some great advice. He mentioned I needed a little work done, which I have heard before from my old dentist.

I don't have insurance so I paid cash for my bonding and I will say he charged me a reasonable price. I had asked for a quote over the phone, before going in. The receptionist was a sweet girl. Over all a great experience and I will certainly go back to him again!

I love Dr. Schlosser. He cares, he explains what he's doing and really gets to know each of his patients. A big plus, he also works on Saturdays and Sundays.

Place is old, dirty, and dusty. I went to see if my insurance was accepted and I ended up with a $600 bill. All I wanted was a "yes we accept this insurance or NO we don't." Instead Mark (very old man) told me I had to sit on the dentist chair so he can check if I needed any work. I clearly didn't I just wanted to have a dentist where I can go in the future if I had a problem with my teeth.

He examined me and took X-rays. I left and he said he will call me to let me know if my insurance was accepted. A week later I get a $600 bill. I refused to pay because he never told me I would be charged for the "services he claims he did" nor did he give me a list of prices. He pretty much did what he wanted and billed me. Then he had the nerves to send me to collections. Seriously this was a nightmare don't recommend this location to anyone.

For the past three years - I've been lucky enough to have Dr. Schlosser as my dentist. He diagnosed my open-bite. He really mentioned things no other dentist had, which led me to see an orthodontist to correct my jaw and bite issues. He's the quirky, brilliant type that makes an off-handed remark that turns out to be 100% accurate. His office calls back to the days of old Beverly Hills depicted in the movies. My teeth are in good hands - one less thing to worry about!

Dr. Schlosser is fantastic. As stated in other reviews, he is always available, kind, skilled, and honest about you dental health. He doesn't recommend unnecessary procedures or pressure you about anything. The office environment is cozy, and the service is fantastic. He's been accessible on two seperate occasions for me for emergency care. Top notch.

I've been going to Dr. Schlosser for about four years. I never have trouble scheduling an appointment, he is always ready to see me right away, and unlike any dentist I've ever had, he does the cleaning himself. What's great about that is that he really takes the time to check out our teeth and give you suggestions and help. Previous dentists I've had have someone else clean and then give a hilariously cursory look at your teeth. I'm talking like four seconds.

And then they charge you something stupid for it. For once I feel like my teeth are being looked at by someone who really cares. What's more, he's a really great guy. I'm a very happy customer.

I will reserve the other star for future visits, but definitely a positive impression! Firstly, I work all week and get almost no time off, so the weekend and late hours are a huge bonus. He fit me in pretty much right away, and gave me a very honest exam. Flexible with payment and treatment plan. Agree with the other reviews, adorable, comfy office, and quirky, kind man. Will be back in a few months for a procedure, and will re-review then!

Dr. Schlosser is a kind dentist that is pretty much available any time. He seems to work late and on weekends. Easy street parking around his office, and an easy walk for me. Don't expect a trendy, flashy office - it's a bit older, more classic like an old house, slightly worn-in and very homey feeling. My first impression was that he was a humble, quirky doc like the other reviewer.

After a misunderstanding with the receptionist about my insurance, we got to my appointment. I went through the standard procedures of him asking if I have any problems with my teeth. He takes ex-rays and actually finds some things which no other dentist have brought up before. We talk about it and he gave me good advice. The cleaning went really well, and as he was cleaning, he would drop little nuggets of great advice about teeth maintenance, how to chew, etc.

He does all the work himself, no hygenists. It's nice to have a dentist do the actual cleaning. I came back 2 weeks later to have a procedure done. Very professional job. One thing to note is that he seems to have a new receptionist working for him who is still 'learning the ropes'. Don't let that throw you off. He's very responsive and will look into things for you and get back to you quickly. All in all, I recommend this dentist because of his openness, great advice, excellent work, the fact that he does it all by himself and the convenient hours.
